Galaxy S24 February 2025 update details
The update was released to Galaxy S24 smartphones in the US yesterday, which may take a few days to reach all units as these monthly security updates are released in batches. It is currently spotted rolling out on Verizon network-locked Galaxy S24 devices. Other carrier-locked units and unlocked units will also receive this update in a few days.
Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra smartphones are getting February updates with build versions S921USQS4AYA1, S926USQS4AYA1, and S928USQS4AYA1, respectively.
February 2025 Android security contains fixes for more than 40 issues in Galaxy devices to offer a smooth experience. Apart from the security, the update does not contain new features but includes system improvements for stable performance in some scenarios.
Moreover, these units have been waiting to taste stable One UI 7 for a long time, and the wait is still continuing as the company is preparing to push the fourth beta update for the Galaxy S24 units that joined the beta program.
