Samsung expanding One UI 7 beta 4 update beyond the initial US testing phase

Samsung is playing with its One UI 7 beta instead of releasing the stable version. A few days ago, the company released a new One UI 7 build for the Galaxy S24 devices in the US that eventually fixed a few VVM crash issues related to the US carriers.

Now Samsung is expanding the update in more regions including; India, Germany, Poland, and South Korea. The newly released One UI 7 beta update has its dedicated version number ZYBF, which is different from the US.

Previously it was estimated that if Samsung considers expanding the newest One UI 7 beta update for Galaxy S24 devices to more regions, then it should have a dedicated version number.

Noticeably, the newly released One UI 7 beta update will not be considered beta 5 as it is merely a quick fix that fixes the issue where the refresh rate drops in particular scenes for the Galaxy S24 Ultra devices.

The update also fixes other relevant bugs to deliver a more stable and smooth user experience. The company has yet to reveal the exact timeline for the stable Android 15 (One UI 7) release.

On the comparison side, Google already started its Android 16 beta program and released two beta up to the date. It remains to see how Samsung will manage to release two major updates back to back.
