Samsung’s One UI 7 status
Initially, Samsung started the One UI 7 beta program in December 2024 for the Galaxy S24 series. it’s been three months since Samsung is continuously rolling out beta updates over time only for the Galaxy S24 series.
Recently, it has rolled out One UI 7 beta 4 in more regions following the US to the Galaxy S24 series. Samsung introduced the stable Android 15-based One UI 7 with the newly launched Galaxy S25 series. However, until yet, Samsung hasn’t expanded the beta program to any other Galaxy device except Galaxy S24.
Samsung could expand the One UI 7 beta to foldable phones
Samsung is now rumored to expand the One UI 7 beta update to the sixth-generation foldable phones.
A reliable tipster, Tarun Vats on X, shared a post, claiming that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are expected to get the One UI 7 beta update. It is speculated since the beta builds are spotted on the test servers for Europe and India.
It’s expected that the beta could arrive in these two regions first and then expand out widely. However, there’s no official statement regarding this report yet, so it will be interesting to see whether the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will get the One UI 7 beta update.
