Samsung Galaxy M14 spotted running Android 15

Finally, Samsung started expanding Android 15 to its budget-able Galaxy M-series. The Galaxy M14 is spotted running Android 15 on Geeckbench. 

Samsung is actively working on Android 15 but is quite late to release the update. It has already announced that it will release the stable Android 15 (One UI 7) with the new Galaxy next year.

Now a budget-able Galaxy smartphone named Galax M14 appeared running Android 15 online on Geekbench database. 

The LTE variant of the Galaxy M14 is spotted running Android 15 on the Geekbench with single and multi-core scores.

A well-reliable tipster, Tarun Vats, on X, shared a post with an image showcasing the scores of the devices. According to the database, the single-core and multi-core of the device get dedicated scores which are as follows –

  • Single Core – 419
  • Multi Score – 1387

However, the Galaxy M14 is not the first budget phone spotted running Android 15. Previously the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A14 5G have also been spotted online running Android 15. 

Galaxy M14 software policy 

Samsung launched the Galaxy M14 in March 2023. It is powered by an Exynos 1330 chipset and runs Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box. Currently, it is running Android 14.

Samsung has promised to offer two major Android OS updates and four years of security patches to the Galaxy M14 device. This means that Android 15 will be its last major OS update.

Noticeably, the device is not eligible for One UI 7 (Android 15). It will directly receive the stable update after the flagship and mid-range devices.  

Samsung Android 15 (One UI 7)

Samsung has already announced that it has scheduled the stable One UI 7 for next year with the new Galaxy. Now it is anticipated to start the beta program in mid-December. However, there’s no official announcement regarding the release date.
