Samsung is still yet to release the One UI 7, while Galaxy users already started waiting for the One UI 8 due to the Android 16 developer preview.
The early Android 16 release could force Samsung to release One UI 8 sooner than the usual time. Since Samsung is already lagging in to release of Android 15, releasing One UI 8 on time will help the company to maintain its dignity.
However, it will be interesting to see exactly how Samsung will manage the timeline between One UI 7 and One UI 7 8 release.
