Good news for Galaxy Note 20 users in America! Samsung has begun the August update rollout for its Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. The company is expected to start giving this update soon in other regions.
The August update brings several security patches to address vulnerabilities. But it does not bring any new features. However, monthly updates play a crucial role in their device’s security and stability. So users should install the latest security patch updates as soon as possible.
Galaxy Note 20 users can check and install the August update by heading to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update is not available on your device, you should wait some time. A software update could take some time to reach all users.
As of now, the update has been spotted in the US on carrier-locked networks, including T-Mobile and Sprint. And users can identify the update with its new firmware version, N98*USQS9HXH1. The update could also improve the functionality of the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
Moreover, Samsung is currently busy with the development of the One UI 6.1.1 and One UI 7 beta programs. Nevertheless, the company has still managed to roll out a monthly update for its Galaxy devices.
