Samsung to start One UI 8 beta soon
The Korean tech giant seems all set to open the One UI 8 beta update by the end of this month, as the beta forum page already started appearing on the company’s official community sites. The One UI 8 beta program will be rolled out for eligible Galaxy devices in selected countries.
One UI 8 stable release date
Google is already done with the Android 16 beta program and will release the stable version anytime in June 2025. Samsung is rumored to introduce a stable Android 16-based One UI 8 with its next-generation foldable devices.
The company will launch its next-gen foldable phones, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, at the Unpacked event in the first week of July. By this prospect, One UI 8 will be launched in early July.
One UI 8 to bring two exclusive features
Transparently, Samsung will offer dozens of features and AI tools with the One UI 8 update, including two features:
- Video Object Eraser and Notification Summary
Initially, the Video Object Eraser was rumored to arrive with One UI 7.1, but that’s now the case, since Samsung will directly jump to One UI 8. It will help you to erase or remove unwanted objects from the video easily. While the notification summary is designed to streamline your notifications by providing concise overviews of several notifications from similar apps.
