Galaxy A25 5G dual camera version announced in Japan

Samsung has announced a new version of the Galaxy A25 5G today. The device will be launched on 27 February in Japan. Galaxy A25 5G has already been launched in many regions which was released with triple rear camera setup but this smartphone is going to launch in Japan with a new camera setup and different specification.

With the dual camera design, this smartphone now looks better than its original version, but the global variant features far better specifications than this new model.

Galaxy A25 5G Japanese model specifications

The Japanese version of the Galaxy A25 features a 50MP + 2MP camera setup on the backside, and for the selfie, it sports a 5MP selfie shooter. Where the global version comes with the Exynos 1280 chipset, the Japanese model is equipped with the Dimensity 6300+ chipset. The device features a bigger 6.7-inch LCD display with only 60Hz refresh rate support.

The Korean tech giant introduces it with a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option, and the storage can be expanded with a microSD card. It houses a 5000 mAh battery and also comes with an IP68 rating.

The device will be available for purchase from 27 February 2025 on Samsung’s online store, as well as carriers J:Com, NTT Docomo, Au Mobile, Y!Mobile, UQ Mobile, and SoftBank. The smartphone is priced at JPY 29,900 in Japan.
