Samsung is actively rolling out the December security update for its eligible Galaxy devices. Dozens of Galaxy devices have already received the latest security update. After the One UI 7 beta program announcement, the company has started the monthly updates rollout at double speed.
Galaxy A54 5G December update details
Currently, the December update for the Galaxy A54 is spotted in the US. It is rolling out on carrier-locked units; more specifically, the update is available for Tracfone and US Cellular. Galaxy A54 5G users will need to download around 543.52 MB of package size to install it.
On US Cellular, the update is rolling out with build version A546USQSACXKD, and Tracfone users can identify it with build version S546VLUDSBCXKD. Notably, the other carrier received second software update with November 2024 security patch. This is the first Galaxy A-series device to receive the November 2024 update.
These new Android security patches include fixes for over 48 issues in Galaxy devices. On the other hand, it also improves the overall stability of the device. Users should install these security updates as they can save your device from security flaws.
