Samsung is actively working on Galaxy A56 to debut soon and it will run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box.
Samsung to launch Galaxy A56 soon
The Korean tech giant is aggressively gearing up to expand its mid-range Galaxy A-series, by debuting new smartphones, including Galaxy A56.
Samsung is expected to debut the Galaxy A56 as the successor to the Galaxy A55 by the end of the year’s first quarter. Last year, Samsung debuted the Galaxy A55 in March. Following the same timeline the company could debut the Galaxy A56 during the same period sometime in March.
The smartphone has already made its existence on multiple certifications which hints at the expected specifications of the smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A56 will run One UI 7 out of the box
Currently, the Galaxy A56 is spotted on FCC certification with the dedicated model number SM-A566E.
The model number hints that this variant might sell mainly in Asian and Middle Eastern countries. Noticeably, one of the certification documents contains a screenshot from the phone’s status information screen.

The screenshot showcases the same new battery icon at the top-right corner of the screen that One UI 7 brings. This confirms that the device will run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box.
Previously, it was spotted on Geekbench which also revealed that it runs on Android 15. However, there’s no more official evidence regarding this at least for now, but these are enough to know that it will run One UI 7 out of the box.
It is also expected that Samsung could offer a 45W wired charging support to Galaxy A56. It is more than the 25W of the newly launched Galaxy S25 (base). It will be interesting to see whether all of these expectations will come into existence.
