The September patch rollout was started with the Galaxy A55 5G. And till now the update has been rolled out to many Galaxy devices. This time the Fan Edition of Galaxy S21 is receiving the September update. Previously, the device received the Circle to Search feature with the August update.
The September update is currently rolled out in the US. More specifically, the update is available for the carrier-locked units. It can be identified with the build version G990USQSCGXH1. It is expected that the unlocked units will get the update soon.
The September update includes security paths to address vulnerabilities. Also, the update improves the functionalities of the device. Keeping data security in view, users should install security patches as soon as possible.
The update is spotted on major network carriers like T-Mobile. Other network-locked Galaxy S21 FE devices will also get the update in the coming days.
The device may also get some features of One UI 6.1.1 in the future update. The Galaxy S21 FE is eligible for the One UI 7 based on Android 15 too. The device was announced in 2021, and it is eligible for a security update until early 2026.
