Samsung may release the One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S23 by the end of this week as per recent leaks, and the Korean tech giant has also confirmed the beta update availability for the Galaxy S23 series units.
Galaxy S23 series March 2025 security update details
To make sure to secure the Galaxy S23 ahead of the One UI 7 beta, Samsung started distributing the March 2025 update to the Galaxy S23 units. As of writing, the update is spotted in Korea and the US regions. And it should be expanded to remaining regions soon.
Korean users are getting the March 2025 update with build versions S911NKSS6CYB3, S916NKSS6CYB3, and S918NKSS6CYB3 for the S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra, respectively. And the March 2025 software update package size is 428.97 MB for the S23 series.
On the other hand, US locked units are also getting the same update with build versions S911USQS6CYB3, S916USQS6CYB3, and S918USQS6CYB3.
The brand-new firmware update is primarily focused on solving security issues; it includes fixes for more than 58 issues. In addition, the update also improves Galaxy S23 units system stability, but you will not see any new features with this update.
Moreover, Galaxy S23 units are ready to grab their second major upgrade in the form of One UI 7, and the stable version is expected to be released next month for these flagships.
