Galaxy S24 FE gets October update in the US

Samsung is doing great job regarding timely software updates. The Korean tech giant has released the October security update for the Galaxy S24 FE. After rollout in Europe and Asia, it has begun rolling out in the US.

The Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 series devices were announced on September 26. Both devices come with noticeable upgrades compared to previous generations. The Galaxy S24 FE is eligible for seven years of security support.

Coming to the main point, the October update is currently rolling out on the Verizon network-locked Galaxy S24 FE units. And users can identify the update with its new build number, S721USQS2AXI5. Other carrier-locked and unlocked units should receive it soon.

The October update includes many fixes for Android system vulnerabilities. Apart from the Google patches, Samsung also includes some patches for its Galaxy devices. To protect your device from security flaws, you should install the latest security patches.

How to download and install the October patch on the Galaxy S24 FE

  • First, go to Settings.
  • Now tap on the software update.
  • Here, click to download and install the update.

However, the One UI 7 update is getting late this year. The company will release a One UI 7 update with the Galaxy S25 series next year.
