This step potentially aims to address long-standing calls for a significant camera upgrade. This new sensor is expected to deliver enhanced picture quality, color vibrancy, and AI optimization.

Noticeably, in terms of configuration, it will degrade, but not in performance as this step is expected to take mobile photography to the next level.

According to a previous report, Samsung plans to offer a massive camera upgrade next year with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
