Samsung is expanding the cover screen compatibility of its newly launched Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Yes! It lets you use Google Wallet on the cover screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Both the device features a 3.4-inch cover screen. You can add multiple widgets on Galaxy Z Flip 6’s cover screen. Now you can use the Goole Wallet app on the cover screen thanks to the MultiStar module.

Finally, the brand acknowledges the inconvenience and offers support to run the Google Wallet app on the cover screen.
Noticeably, still, it isn’t supported natively. This means you have to install Good Lock and its MultiStar module.
For using the Google Wallet on your cover screen you have to add the MultiStar widget to the cover screen and add the Goole app to it.

Previously, despite adding Google Wallet to the MultiStar widget on the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s cover screen, the app was not compatible to run. Instead, it showcased a note ‘open the phone to continue.’
However, Samsung has yet to clear exactly when this new support will be available on Galaxy Z Flip 5. It’s expected the brand could offer this new support with the upcoming update of the Google Wallet app or Good Lock’s MultiStar module.
The One UI 6.1.1 update is also anticipated to introduce this new support.
Does Galaxy Z Flip 4 get Google Wallet support on the cover screen?
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 features a 1.9-inch cover screen. The new generation Galaxy Z Flip phones feature a 3.4-inch screen, which is quite larger than the fourth generation’s Flip phone.
Because of quite a smaller cover display, running the app on the cover screen of Galaxy Z Flip 4 seems impossible.
