Samsung is anticipated to offer a battery upgrade to the next-generation Galaxy Z Flip 7 as compared to its predecessor.
Samsung to debut Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 soon
The Korean tech giant is actively working on expanding its ways in the foldable market by introducing innovative foldable devices.
Currently, the company is gearing up to introduce its seventh-generation foldable smartphones in the second half of the year.

Apart from these two devices, more foldable smartphones are in the pipeline to debut this year, including Galaxy Z Flip FE and Galaxy G Fold (Tri-Fold).
Galaxy Z Flip 7 could have battery upgrade than Galaxy Z Flip 6
One of our colleagues, Galaxy Club, reported that the forthcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have two batteries with dedicated model numbers which are as follows –
- A 2,985mAh battery – EB-BF767ABY
- A 1,189mAh battery – EB-BF766ABY
The sum of these two batteries will rated capacity of 4,174mAh and a total typical capacity of 4,300mAh.
On the comparison hand, the current Galaxy Z Flip 6 features a combined rated capacity of 3,887mAh battery and a typical capacity of 4,000mAh battery.
This configuration suggests that the coming Flip phone will have a 7.5% higher battery capacity as compared to its predecessor.
Samsung has yet to release the official details regarding the specifications of the device, so it remains to see whether this leaked information will come true.
