Samsung has started rolling out the latest September update for the newest foldables. Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are receiving the September 2024 Android security patches. The software update is currently spotted in the US. More specifically, the update is available for locked versions of the foldables.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 September update details
The update comes with One UI build version, F956USQS1AXHB, and F741USQS1AXHC, for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, respectively. The software update downloaded package size for Galaxy Z Fold 6 is 440MB. On the other hand, 429.34MB is the package size for Flip 6.
The September security patch includes fixes for 1 critic with 43 high-level vulnerabilities. Samsung has also added 23 fixes for its Galaxy devices. These fixes improve the device’s overall functionality.
The update also improves system stability and aims for a better user experience. However, the update does not bring new features for the devices. But we can expect some more unknown issue fixes with this new software.
Users should install the latest firmware update as soon as possible. Security-purpose monthly updates are more important in today’s world. So if the update is available in your region download and install it to improve security of your Galaxy device.
