Samsung has started distributing the fourth software update for the latest foldables. Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6—both devices are started getting the November security patch update. The update is currently rolling out in their home country, Korea.
The November 2024 Android security patches are coming with fixes for over 52 issues in Galaxy devices. The latest security patch is rolling out with firmware versions F956NKSU2AXK8 and F741NKSU2AXK8 for Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, respectively.
Users will need to download around a 1GB-sized update package to install it. To check the update manually, Galaxy device owners can navigate to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install. If the update is not available on your device, keep patient; it will be available soon.
Apart from the security patches, the update also improves the system stability. However, it does not include any new functionalities. Other regions like Europe, Asia, and America can expect the update in the coming days as well.
Moreover, both devices were announced in July this year. It is worth seeing when the One UI 7 beta program will be released for both devices. The next major update’s official announcement is just around the corner.
