Have you marked your calendar on 10th July? Samsung confirmed next Galaxy Unpacked event is on 10 July. The sixth-generation foldable will be the biggest part of the event. Despite being a high-end device Galaxy Z Fold 6 still lacks a 5x portrait camera feature like the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The word flagship directly takes the fans to the high-end camera quality, unique features, and advanced functionalities. But it is not the case for the upcoming foldable anymore, since it misses the premium adeptness of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, like camera specs and compatibility.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 camera lacks 5x portraits
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is a successor of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and is expected to feature the same camera specs as its predecessor. Sounds quite disappointing, but it will miss the most expected 5x portrait camera feature as reported.
The Korean giant offered a 10MP telephoto camera with 10x to the Galaxy S24 Ultra and a 50MP telephoto with 5x to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This addition permits you to capture portrait or bokeh photos at 5x zoom, even after 1x, 2x, & 3x options.

5x portrait is quite convenient in particular scenarios like when the background blur is close to DSLR quality at 5x zoom, you have the power to take portraits at longer distances. But! Unfortunately, this masterpiece feature will not be a part of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The forthcoming fold variant will only feature a 3x telephoto camera. However, the giant could use digital zoom to emulate 5x portraits, but with the 3x camera having a resolution of only 10MP, digital zoom just can’t match it.
If you are a camera enthusiast or usually do capturing work, then the Galaxy S24 Ultra is the better option for you as compared to the upcoming sixth-generation foldable phone.
