In India, Samsung released the July update for its Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S21 FE a few days ago. Now the company has begun the July-month security update for the Exynos version of the Galaxy S21 FE.
What’s changing in the July update for the Galaxy S21 FE?
As per the changelog, no new features are coming with the update. However, the July update comes with several security patches that may improve your device’s overall security. In India, users of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE can identify the latest update with its build number, G990EXXSAFXG1. The July update package has a download size of 274.81 MB.
Apart from the July Android 2024 security patches, the update also improves device stability. The July update is dropped on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14-operated Galaxy S21 FE. It is worth noting that the Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S21 Fe was launched in India only last year, while the Exynos variant was launched in 2022.
Both versions of the Galaxy S21 FE are also eligible for the upcoming Samsung One UI 7 based on Android 15. Android 15-based One UI 7 will be the last major update for the device. Moreover, you can check the latest software update by heading to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
