Almost every eligible Galaxy device has received the latest security patch. Users were expecting the One UI 6.1.1 or One UI 7 Beta program this month for the Galaxy S24 series. It seems the development is getting late, so they released the August security updates for all eligible devices.
The August update rollout was started with the Galaxy M55 5G. And until now, it has been available on lots of Galaxy devices. The August 2024 Android security update is a monthly software update for Android devices. These security patches address over 45 issues to ensure device security.
Moreover, the update improves system performance with unknown bug fixes. However, the update does not include new features for most of the devices. But still, it is important to install the latest software updates. The latest update could improve the device’s stability and functionalities.
