The March 2025 update can be identified with build versions G556BXXS7BYC1 and G525FXXSEEYC1 for the Galaxy XCover7 and XCover5, respectively.

The brand new firmware fixes over 58 security vulnerabilities in the Galaxy devices to improve the security of the units. March 2025 firmware is the monthly improvement update, and these monthly improvement updates usually take a few days to be available on every unit, as the company releases these firmware OTA’s in batches.

However, the update only contains new patches but not new functions, but still these firmware’s are important as they include system improvements along with improved security.

Further, one device from Samsung’s rugged family received the March 2025 update a few days ago, which is the Galaxy XCover6 Pro.

The company has already informed through a newsroom post that the stable update of One UI 7 will start rolling out from April 7. But this update will first roll out for Samsung’s flagship devices like the Galaxy S24, S23, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, etc.
