No Exynos 2500 for Galaxy S25 series! Samsung to power the entire Galaxy S25 series with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, as reports say.

Under the hood, Samsung already started gearing up for its next flagship lineup; the Galaxy S25 series. Following the previous schedule, the Galaxy S25 series is supposed to debut in early 2025.
The series will include three variants –
- Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra
A couple of days it was reported that the company could rename the variant name of the series. The Galaxy S25 Plus variant could be renamed as Galaxy S25 Pro and the Ultra variant could be renamed as Note.

The upcoming Galaxy S25 lineup has already been spotted online on China’s 3C database, which revealed that it will feature a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
The plus variant of the series is expected to bring a new periscope telephoto camera, a bigger main camera, and faster charging.
Now a new report suggests that the Exynos 2500 might not power the Galaxy S25 lineup.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 could power the entire Galaxy S25 lineup
Initially, it was reported that Galaxy could ditch its Exynos 2500 chipset to power the Galaxy S25 series. Instead, of its in-house chipset, it could use Quaclomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 to power the entire series.
However, later than another report suggested that the Exynos 2500 is still expected to power the series.

Now a well-reliable tipster, Tarun Vats, suggests that “Eynos 2500 might be a no-show for the Galaxy S25 series!” He also shared a screenshot, in which it mentioned that the Exynos 2500 installed failed on Galaxy S25.
The Korean tech giant has yet to confim the chipset for its upcoming flagship series. after a long controversy, it will be interesting to see, whether the giant will go for its in-house Exynos 2500 or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
