The One UI 6.1.1 isn’t worth the wait as it brings trouble for the Galaxy S24 users. Samsung took enough time to expand the update. Despite that, the One UI 6.1.1 brings fingerprint issues.
Samsung released One UI 6.1.1 update
After almost two months of One UI 6.1.1 debut on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, Samsung start expanding it.
Recently, the Galaxy S24 lineup received the One UI 6.1.1 update in South Korea. The update brings dozens of new features including Galaxy AI and improvements to enhance the overall system software. The changelog includes non-Galaxy AI features also as per users’ convenience.

The company officially revealed the timeline for the update to roll out in other regions. The update for the Galaxy S24 series will begin rolling out in Korea on September 5, and North America and Europe on September 9. Galaxy S24 One UI 6.1.1 features have now started rolling out.

Apart from the new features and improvements, the One UI 6.1.1 update also brings an unwanted fingerprint issue on Galaxy S24 devices.
It comes to know that after installing the One UI 6.1.1 update, a sudden fingerprint issue occurred on the Galaxy S24 device.
It is being speculated, as a few users reported about the fingerprint issue on their Galaxy S24 device.
A user in the community reported that he is experiencing issues with the fingerprint sensor on their cell phone. While the phone is in its pocket the sensor is accidentally triggering. Then the phone asks to enter a pattern after multiple unsuccessful attempts.

Another user shared that after installing the One UI 6.1.1 update despite being able to register their fingerprint it consistently fails to unlock the device. The issue also occurs while authorizing the payments using Samsung Pay.
Although, it’s expected that the brand will soon acknowledge the issue, and release a fix for it.
