Samsung recently announced that One UI 6 Watch Galaxy AI features are coming to Galaxy smartwatches. The giant is close to releasing the One UI 6 Watch beta program soon, bringing a bundle of AI-powered health-related tools.
The One UI 6 Watch beta brings AI-powered tools to enhance the health monitoring experience. These tools will offer AI-generated health and fitness monitoring metrics. To calm the curiosity among Galaxy smartwatch fans, Samsung has officially announced that Galaxy AI is coming to Galaxy smartwatches with the One UI 6 Watch. The features are mentioned below –
- Energy Score, Wellness Guide, Workout Routine, detailed and new metrics for sleeping Insight, Personalised Heart Rate Zone, and the Race mode for running or cycling.

These One UI 6 Watch Galaxy AI features will Work with all Android Phones
Here’s the question; These Galaxy AI features in Galaxy Watch work only when the smartwatch is paired with Samsung’s smartphones or other Android devices.
The simple answer is yes! But with a twist 🙁
In the footnotes section of the official page, Samsung clarifies that only Energy Score and Wellness Guide features for Galaxy AI for Galaxy Watches will work with all Android devices running at least Android 10 and later version of the OS and the Samsung Health app version 6.27 and newer version of the app.

These two features will work on your Galaxy Watch seamlessly even after pairing with a non-Samsung phone.
These One UI 6 Watch Galaxy AI features will be exclusive to Samsung Phones
For a feature Personalised Heart Rate Zone, there are three – Aerobic Threshold (AT), Anaerobic Threshold (AnT), and Functional Threshold Power (FTP).

Functional Power (FTP) will work only with Samsung phones, it will not be compatible with Galaxy Watch owners with non-Samsung phones. However, the Korean giant has yet to clarify whether the Workout Routine, new metrics for Sleep Insights, and the Race mode for running or cycling will work with non-Samsung phones.
