Samsung is actively working on its next Android skin; One UI 7.0 (Android 15). This upcoming major update is expected to bring noticeable improvements, new functionality, changes, and more customization options for users’ convenience. But it’s sad to relate all the latest novelties of One UI 7.0 update to be the last for a few Galaxy devices.
Disheartened, we are counting the Samsung Galaxy devices that will receive Android 15-based One UI 7.0 as their last major OS update.

The Korean giant follows its software policy, and based on that, it allocates a specific number of major OS updates to each Samsung Galaxy device before launch. Once a device receives its allotted software updates, Samsung stops supporting that device. The One UI 7.0 is the same case for the Galaxy devices mentioned below –
One UI 7.0: This will be the last major update for these Galaxy devices
Galaxy S Series
- Galaxy S21
- Galaxy S21+
- Galaxy S21 Ultra
Galaxy A Series
- Galaxy A14
- Galaxy A14 5G
- Galaxy A05
- Galaxy A05s
Galaxy M and F Series
- Galaxy M14 4G
- Galaxy M14 5G
- Galaxy F14 5G
In the meantime, the giant has already started Android 15-based One UI 7.0 Beta testing internally for the Galaxy S24 series. Samsung might release its first One UI 7.0 Beta sometime in August, initially to its high-ended device and then a few specific A series devices.
However, Samsung has not unfolded this list mentioned above, so it recommended not to take it officially, and the giant could add more devices to the list.
