Android 15 Beta 2 is already ready to download. Meanwhile, other smartphone manufacturers look forward to adopting the Android 15’s features with their customized Android skin. Similarly, the OnePlus is gearing up for Android 15-based OxygenOS 15, expected to bring Privacy Watermark and auto-pixelate image features. Being a Samsung admirer it will be interesting to see if Samsung’s One UI 7.0 introduces such features.
OnePlus appears to introduce a new “Privacy Watermark” feature in the Photos app with its OxygenOS 15. As per the description, this feature will add a watermark to your photo, indicating it is an official document application. Plus, you will also get the power to customize the watermark.
This feature will add an extra layer of privacy but cannot address the misuse of documents. Except for watermark features, OxygenOS 15 is also expected to introduce a convenient Pixelate feature. The Auto Pixelate could automatically pixelate screenshots before sharing them with friends or anyone. It seems that this feature could help to target user’s specific details such as name, date of birth, passwords, cards info, and more.
Among Samsung fans, there’s an interesting curiosity, whether One UI 7.0 would bring such features or not. Samsung Notes App offers a bunch of functionality focussed on document privacy. However, the Galaxy app already offers a watermark feature, but only allows to put device names and capture time. Since Android 15-based One UI 7.0 is the next-generation Android skin, it should bring OnePlus-like features.
