The update is distributed with beta build version A556EXXU7ZYD3, and the beta 2 comes in a package size of 336.17 MB. It brings several bug fixes along with improved security.

The update contains April 2025 Android security patches to ensure device security during the beta program. However, non-beta users of the Galaxy A55 have not received the April 2025 update yet. Below, users can check the changelog for bug-fix details.

Galaxy A55 One UI 7 Beta 2 Changelog

  • Bugs that have been fixed
  • Fix poor visibility issue when checking Now bar Google sports
  • Fix an issue that cannot be attached to MMS emoticon on a particular route
  • Fix top notification icon to SIM shape when eSIM Push notification is received
  • Many other improvements

Moreover, it has been a long time, so Samsung should provide a stable update as soon as possible instead of a beta because Samsung fans have been waiting for many months, and till now the stable version of One UI 7 has not been received even in the older flagship. While on one hand, One UI 7 is still awaited, on the other hand, according to some reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has been seen running on One UI 8.
