Samsung Galaxy S24 units just received One UI 7 beta 4 yesterday, and now they also start receiving a smaller-sized fifth beta. However, it is only available for unlocked Galaxy S24 units in the US.

One UI 7 Beta 5 update details

The update brings a fix for the VVM crash issue as per the changelog of the One UI 7 beta 5. Users are getting this beta update with build versions S921U1UEU4ZYBB, S926U1UEU4ZYBB, and S928U1UEU4ZYBB for Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, respectively.

The One UI 7 beta 5 comes in a download file of 436.20MB. It looks like the Hotfix update is related to Visual Voicemail. Following installation there is no other changes found.

Possibly this update will not be released in other regions, as this issue may be limited to US unlocked units. By the way, would it be right to call this update beta 5 or not because it is a small issue fix update that has come only in the US?

Anyway, this update is another step towards bringing One UI 7 to stable form. It may also contain some known issues that are not mentioned in the changelog.
