Google has introduced a new feature called Lockdown Mode to Android 15. One UI 7 Lockdown Mode will prevent access to data on the phone through the USB cable. This will completely avoid the juice jacking attacks, even though it is already pretty hard to successfully attempt juice jacking.

One of our colleagues, Android Authority’s Mishaal Rahman, speculated on this latest upgrade. When you activate the Lockdown Mode, access to the phone via a USB cable is instantly cut down. Processing Android Debug Bridge (ADB) commands and keyboard access are disabled to avoid juice jacking.

Although, Galaxy smartphones and tablets already have this Lockdown Mode. Currently, it only prevents the device from being unlocked using biometric methods. You must use a specific pattern, PIN, or password to unlock the Galaxy device. Now, Samsung could offer an improved Lockdown Mode with One UI 7 update.
