Today, the Galaxy S23 series models are blessed with the latest major upgrade in the US. The stable One UI 7 for the S23 was already released in Korea a few days ago, and now the Korean tech giant has started expanding it to the US. In the coming weeks, the update will be available in the remaining regions as well.
What’s new with stable One UI 7 for Galaxy S23?
The brand-new, massive, feature-rich major update comes with build versions S911USQU6DYD9, S916USQU6DYD9, and S918USQU6DYD9 for the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra, respectively. The major update comes in a massive download size of around 5 GB.
The update brings one of the most useful and beautiful features, Now Bar, for live activities like music, timers, navigation, and recording support to the Galaxy S23 series models. Along with new features, it also comes with new notification and quick settings panels, next-level lock screen and home screen customizations, game-changing animations, and many more.
Further, the April 2025 Android security patches are also included in the update, which comes with fixes for over 60 vulnerabilities, including 1 critical CVE. It also comes with some system-related improvements that improve system stability.
How to download the One UI 7 update
If you want to check this major firmware availability on your Samsung device, navigate to Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install. Make sure your device has a battery of more than 60% before installation.
