Currently, the One UI 8 beta (changelog) is available only to Galaxy S25 users in select countries, including the US, UK, Germany, and South Korea.

Meanwhile, the company has also begun preparing to roll out the One UI 8 beta update to its tablet family. As the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra was spotted running Android 16 (One UI 8) build on Geekbench.

Samsung, with the latest beta update, offered several improvements, new features, tweaks, and revamped a few Galaxy apps to enhance users’ experience. The update also upgrades the Clock app by adding two new convenient options within the ‘alarm group.’

One UI 8 adds two new options to the alarm group, which are as follows –

  • Add a new alarm
  • Add an existing alarm

The ‘Add new alarm’ will let you create a new alarm in the group, whereas the second one ‘Add existing alarm’ will allow you to add an existing alarm to the group. This will be convenient for users to set an alarm more quickly.

In the current One UI 7 version, when you open an alarm group and click on the plus sign to add a new alarm to the group, the Clock app only gives you the option to add a new alarm.

Now with the One UI 8, you can also add a widget for an alarm group as well. With that, you can just tap on the widget to set all the alarms in a group on or off.
