One UI 8 beta 1 is rolling out with ZYER build to Galaxy S25 series
Samsung began the beta testing program of Android 16-based One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 series. The update is currently rolled out in four countries, including Korea, Germany, the UK, and the US. Two more countries, India and Poland, will also get the beta program in the coming days.
This first beta software is rolling out with build version ZYER for all units. Further, the download size of the One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S25 series is 3.6 GB. Below you can check the One UI 8 beta 1 build versions.
- Galaxy S25: S931NKSU3ZYER (Korea), S931BXXU3ZYER (Germany and UK),
- Galaxy S25+: S936NKSU3ZYER (Korea), S936BXXU3ZYER (Germany and UK)
- Galaxy S25 Ultra: S938NKSU3ZYER (Korea), S938BXXU3ZYER (Germany and UK)


But before you install any beta update, you must know the risks. These early beta updates come with various bugs and issues. Banking apps and services may not work during the beta testing, so you should install these types of updates on your secondary devices.
Samsung has officially announced the details and availability of the One UI 8 beta in a post on Samsung Newsroom. To join the beta program, you will need to follow the new instruction given in the notification in the Samsung Members app. Following enrollment in the program, you will get an OTA update; just download and install it.
