Samsung Galaxy A56 5G outperforms its flagship sibling 

Samsung is actively gearing up to introduce its latest mid-range smartphone name – Galaxy A56 5G. Surprisingly, its Geekbench scores are higher than the flagship Exynos Galaxy S22 Ultra. 

Initially, the upcoming Galaxy A56 device came into existence with the model number AM-A566B/DS. The company will introduce the coming phone as the successor of Galaxy A55 which had the model number SM-A556B/DS.

A couple of days ago, it was reported that Samsung will power its coming mid-range device with its in-house Exynos 1580. The chipset has already been spotted on the Geekbench with the model number S5E8855. It’s anticipated to deliver upgraded and smooth performance as compared to its predecessor chipset. 

Samsung Galaxy A56 on average scores higher than the Exyos Galaxy S22 Ultra  

Now, the coming device is again spotted on the Geekbench with satisfied scores which are as follows – 

  • Single-Core Score – 1341 
  • Multi-Core Score – 3836 

These scores are quite higher as compared to Exynos Galaxy S22 Ultra’s score which are as follows – 

  • Single-Core Score – 1133 
  • Multi-Core Score – 3568 

The scores clearly show that the coming mid-range Galaxy A56 will deliver better performance than the flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra.

A tipster, Anthony, on X, shared a post stating that; “Galaxy A56 on average scores higher than the Exynos Galaxy S22 Ultra.” 

The Exynos 1580 includes eight CPU cores which are mentioned below – 

  • One prime core at 2.91 GHz 
  • Three mid-core at 2.60GHz
  • Four small cores at 1.95GHz 

These cores run at a higher clock speed and target higher single-core performance. 

Galaxy A56 to run Android 15 out of the box 

The device is expected to have 8GB of RAM. It will run Android 15 out of the box. The company is still struggling with Android 15 and has yet to open the beta program, which strongly suggests it will debut by the end of this year or potentially next year.
