Despite struggling to provide the One UI 7 stable update, Samsung is still managing to release monthly security updates on time. Currently, almost 14 Galaxy devices have received the April 2024 security update; however, many Samsung Galaxy devices are still waiting for the latest security updates.
The April 2025 update comes with around 60 patches to address security vulnerabilities. These patches improve the overall security of the devices. Except for the Galaxy S25 series, the latest update does not bring new features to most of the Galaxy devices, but it includes a few optimizations for the devices. However, Samsung is too late this year to distribute the latest Android upgrade, but a week ago the company announced the One UI 7 schedule officially for all regions on its website support pages and hopes this time users will get the major update on time according to the official schedule for all Galaxy devices.
