Samsung Galaxy Note 20 gets the July update in Korea and India.

Even during the One UI 7 and One UI 6.1.1 preparations, Samsung has not forgotten to roll out monthly security updates for its Galaxy devices. The Korean tech giant has started rolling out the July update for the Galaxy Note 20 series. After the US, Canada, and European units, the update is now available for Korean and Indian units.

What’s new in the July update for Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra?

The Galaxy Note 20 series is getting the July update with build version N98*NKSS4HXFC in Korea. While the Indian units received the same update with the new build version N98*FXXS4FVG1. This latest software update brings July 2024 Android security patches to ensure the device’s security. The latest update also improves the stability of the system.

The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra were announced in 2020 with Android 10 out of the box. It was launched with three major updates and a four-year security support policy. So it could be added to the Samsung End-of-Support device list soon.

In addition, the company could roll out the One UI 6.1.1 update for its eligible devices as One UI 7 is delayed. One UI 7 is also highly anticipated as a major update, which could also be released by the end of this month. However, Note 20 has nothing to do with these updates. It’s last major update was One UI 5.1.1, based on Android 13.
