The Korean giant has not released a single official detail regarding the forthcoming Galaxy S25 series. Still, leaks and rumors have already blowing in the market for so long. Now a new report hinted at the early release.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series could be announced sooner than the usual timeline
Samsung usually debuts its latest Galaxy S series in the early first quarter of each year. Let’s take a closer look at the previous Galaxy S-series launches.
- Galaxy S24 series – January 17, 2024
- Galaxy S23 series – February 1, 2023
These dates suggest that the company will launch the latest series between late January and February.

Now the company seems to have changed its strategy by debuting the latest Galaxy S25 earlier than the usual time. According to the report the Galaxy S25 series will launch in the first week of 2025 on January 5.
Samsung Galaxy S25 major leaks so far
The entire Galaxy S25 series is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. This chipset is expected to deliver a 45% boost in CPU performance, a 44% gain in power efficiency, and a 40% upgrade in both GPU performance and power efficiency.
The leaked renders of Galaxy S25 Ultra showcased the color options of the phones which are as follows –
- Titanium Gray
- Titanium Black
- Titanium Blue
- Titanium Silver
The series will run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box instead of One UI 7.1. The ultra variant of the series will have a round corner design.
Apart from the usual three variants; Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung is also developing a one more device under the same series called Galaxy S25 Slim.
However, Samsung has yet to reveal the launch date of the series, so for now, the Galaxy S25 release date is just a prediction.
