Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series

After a long tease, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California.

The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are the series’ variants. All are unique. The entire series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and runs Android 15-based One UI 7. Here are the full specifications of the Ultra variant.

Body

The Galaxy S25 Ultra measures 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm (6.41 x 3.06 x 0.32 in) dimensions. It weighs 218 grams.

To make the device more protective it has Corning Gorilla Armor glass at the front and Corning Gorilla Armor glass at the back. The frame is fully framed with titanium (grade 5). Power and volume buttons are placed on the right side. It has round corners and thinner bazels.

The device features a 6.8-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X HDR10+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It features 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution, 2600 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Armor glass.

Samsung offered the same 5000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. Noticeably this time the company has offered an upgraded 25W wireless charging support. It also has 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

Samsung makes the Galaxy S25 Ultra available in three variants which are as follows –

The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite. The chipset includes Octa-core (2×4.47 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix L + 6×3.53 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix M).

It runs Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. Samsung promised seven years of major software upgrades and general security patches.
