Samsung to open One UI 7 Beta program next week
The Korean brand is close to opening the One UI 7 beta by the end of July or early August as reported. Meanwhile, several times, the One UI 7 internal test builds were updated on official servers.

The new report suggests that Samsung could open the awaiting One UI 7 beta program next week or next to next if everything goes according to plan. This latest software version is highly anticipated to bring an extra layer of advancement with new convenient features, improvements, and twerks.
One UI 7 features list
The giant has yet to confirm the exact One UI 7 features exactly, but leaks and reports suggested tons of One UI 7 expected features.
Vertical App drawer
The Vertical App drawer was the first One UI 7 expected feature to be rumored. Almost all Android smartphones already have a vertical app drawer except Samsung Galaxy and undoubtedly Galaxy users miss this feature.
App Lock
The app Lock feature is one of the most convenient features that must be available on smartphones for security. Unfortunately, Galaxy users lack this feature until yet. With the One UI 7 update Samsung could introduce App Lock feature.
Redesigned App icons
The company is looking forward to bringing to new rounder shape app design language to offer a new visual experience. A tipster already shared a bunch of newly redesigned app icons with arrive with the coming One UI 7. The list of apps mentioned below whose icons will change with the update –

Enhanced Quick Settings
One UI 7 will enhance the quick settings. The new update will let you change the placement of each setting within the quick panel. However, it still doesn’t allow you to change the size. Also, all the icons within quick settings will appear quite rounder.
Separate Notifications
The upcoming One UI 7 will bring a dedicated page for notifications. The quick settings and notifications page will have separate sections to access easily.
Search Bar replace
The Korean giant with the One UI 7 moved the search bar to the bottom inside the app drawer under the app icons. It’s a new and notable change. It will be interesting to see what the new search bar will look like. But it seems that the search bar at the bottom will let you easily access it.
Redesigned battery indicator
The shape of the battery indicator icon will also change with One UI 7, it will look like a more circular pill shape. And the battery percentage will be housed within the pill. It will gather the attention.
More features like iOS
It’s reported that with the One UI 7 Samsung could adopt more features from iOS such as rounded lock screen widgets, revamped camera UI, notification panel, new gallery app icon, and quick action on the lock screen. All of these tweaks are inspired by iOS. It will also introduce two more iOS features, including Dynamic Island and Live Activities.

However, all of these are minor changes but after united under the title One UI 7 will upgrade the overall UI to enhance the user experience. Meanwhile, Samsung has yet to reveal the official changelog of One UI 7, so it remains to see actually what new novelties the upcoming update will bring.
