Samsung pushed March 2025 to the Galaxy S25 in Canada

Samsung’s latest S series flagships had received the March 2025 update in Europe, Asia and the US recently, and now the company has started rolling it out in Canada too. Other remaining regions, like Latin America, will also get the same update in the coming days as well.

Update Details

The March 2025 update contains a bunch of security patches in which Google adds almost 51 patches to fix issues in the Android system, while Samsung also adds 7 other patches with the update to address issues in its Galaxy devices.

As always, this security update is also important to install, as it may protect your device from security breaches, and the software also improves system stability in some scenarios.

The update is spotted rolling out with build versions S931WVLS1AYBB, S936WVLS1AYBB, and S938WVLS1AYBB for the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra, respectively. It comes in a software file size of 567.67 MB for these flagships.

How to check the latest firmware update

To check the software update manually on your Galaxy device, first you need to go to the Settings menu, then tap on Software update. Now click on the Download and install option.
