Samsung pushed One UI 7 update to Galaxy A73 5G and A25 5G

Samsung has begun the One UI 7 distribution for more A-series Galaxy devices. Till now only the Galaxy A55, A35, A16, and A15 have received the One UI 7 update, and now the Galaxy A73 and A25 5G units have also joined them. Both devices are getting this major upgrade in different regions: the Galaxy A73 is getting it in Thailand, and the Galaxy A25 is receiving it in Korea.

One UI 7 update details for A73 5G and A25 5G

Thailand users of the Galaxy A73 can identify the One UI 7 firmware with build version A736BXXUAFYE6, and the update comes in a package size of 3.7 GB. On the other hand, the Korean Galaxy A25 5G units are receiving it with firmware version number A256NKSU5CYE2, and the update size is 3.5 GB.

The update for both devices brings most of the useful features of One UI 7, like the Now Bar, the new camera UI, and more. The update also includes dozens of new functionalities.

Apart from new features, it includes the latest security patches to ensure the overall security of the devices. Both smartphones get the May 2025 Android security patches along with Android 15-based One UI 7.

If the One UI 7 update notification does not appear, you can check the update availability by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
