Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 users now can enjoy improved security as both foldables are starting to get the March 2025 security update. The update is now rolling out in European regions following Korea.
Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 March 2025 update details
Samsung has provided this brand new security update to the Fold4 and Flip4 with build versions F936BXXSAGYB2 and F721BXXSAGYB2, respectively. For these foldables, this OTA update comes in a software package of 442.58 MB.
The brand new update is loaded with the latest March 2025 Android security patches to address more than 58 vulnerabilities. The company distributes these OTA updates in batches, so the March update may also take a few days to fully roll out.
Moreover, the update should be extended to more regions in the coming weeks. As per the rumored timeline, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 devices may also receive the stable One UI 7 update by the end of April 2025.
Samsung released the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 in 2022 with Android 12L-based One UI 4 out of the box. So these units will get their third major upgrade in the form of One UI 7 based on Android 15.
