Recently, One UI 6.1.1 testing has been spotted on the official server of Samsung for Galaxy Z Fold 5. A new One UI 6.1.1 testing spots for its sibling Galaxy Z Fold 6. The Korean giant has almost finished the One UI 6.1 rollout to its eligible Galaxy phones.

Ritually, Samsung releases the One UI’s 1.1 update version for its foldable and tablet phones. This time, it is preparing for the One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14. This update is expected to bring some notable customizable features, twerks, improvements, and upgrades to enhance the users’ experience.

A well-reliable tipster on X shared a post and suggested that Samsung is internally testing the One UI 6.1.1 update for Galaxy Z Flip 5. He also mentioned the firmware version of the testing that has spots on the official server of Samsung.

However, internal testing is the initial step of the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 before releasing a beta version. So, it might take at least a few weeks for Samsung to release the beta version of the new software to the Galaxy Z Flip 5. On the other side, the brand is also looking forward to launching the sixth-generation foldable phones – Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 at the next Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2024, which will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 out of the box.
