Samsung is rumored to launch its ever-first Tri-Fold smartphone soon, which is now anticipated to be available in selected markets first.
Samsung to launch a bunch of Galaxy Foldables this year
Usually, Samsung launches two foldable smartphones each year including, Galaxy Z Fold x and Galaxy Z Flip x. However, it changed its strategy last year, launching three foldable devices.
In the current year also, Samsung is anticipated to launch at least three foldable phones as mentioned below –
Apart from these three devices, the company is rumored to launch its first Tri-Fold this year. However, a few leaks also suggested it could schedule the tri-fold for next year.
Samsung Tri-Fold availability
Samsung could be the first brand in the foldable market to launch the tri-fold worldwide. One of its competitors, Huawei already launched the tri-fold named Huawei Mate XT, but only in selected markets.
A reliable tipster, PandaFlash shared a post on X, claiming that Samsung Tri-fold will be available in selected markets first.
This suggests that the company will make the foldable available widely, but initially in selected regions. However, there’s no official information regarding this, so it remains to see whether the report will come true.
Samsung Tri-Fold key upgrades
The same tipster also shared more design details of the coming tri-fold phone. According to him, the tri-fold will have all flat frame sides like the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
The crease visibility will be the same as Galaxy Z Fold 6 and prototype cameras will be housed in the center. The camera rings could be the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Samsung has yet to reveal the official specifications of the device, so for now, it’s difficult to predict the confined details. It remains to see whether the company will make the tri-fold available worldwide or in selected markets.
