Samsung Galaxy S23 series

The Snapdragon 8 Elite to power the Galaxy S25 series worldwide

Samsung is aggressively budding a new revolution to bring in the smartphone market by debuting the Galaxy S25 series. The entire series is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Earlier this year, Samsung debuted the Galaxy S24 series, and now gearing up to bring the next-generation Galaxy S25 series. The company is planning to ditch its in-house Exynos chipset to power the coming series.

Samsung to use Snapdragon 8 Elite for the entire Galaxy S25 series worldwide

Galaxy S25’s chipset is one of the most controversial topics among Galaxy fans. For so long leaks and rumors are suggesting different chipsets to power the Galaxy S25 series.

Initially, the series was rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Then a few reports suggested that the company will use Exynos to power the entire series. However, the recently coming Galaxy S25 series is highly anticipated to be based on Snapdragon 8 Elite.

A well-reliable tipster, Ice Universe, shared a text post on X, claiming that the Galaxy S25 series in the world will adopt Snapdragon 8 Elite instead of an in-house Exynos chipset.

“I reiterate that all versions of the Galaxy S25 series in the world adopt Snapdragon 8 Elite, and will not adopt Exynos.”

However, the same tipster already claimed the same things previously. Now again repeating the same report suggests the confirmation at least for now.

Samsung is budding an extra variant under the Galaxy S25 series

Samsung usually introduces three variants in each Galaxy S-series. As a ritual, the forthcoming Galaxy S25 series was supposed to include three models –

  • Galaxy S25
  • Galaxy S25+
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra

Apart from these three basic variants, Samsung is budding one more model under the same series called Galaxy S25 Slim. However, the slim variant is rumored to debut by the end of next year.
