Samsung is gearing up to introduce its next most customizable Android skin, One UI 7.0 based on Android 15. We are expecting a feature that One UI 7.0 should bring “Vertical App Drawer.”
Undoubtedly, Samsung One UI is one of the most demandable Android skins, but it lacks some features Galaxy smartphone & Tablet users have requested for so long. A vertical app drawer is one of them. The next major update is One UI 7.0 in the line and is expected to arrive in October, initially for the Galaxy S24 series.
One UI 7.0 could bring a vertically arranged app drawer
The vertically organized app drawer is one of the most long-requested features among Galaxy users. The next ray of hope is the upcoming One UI 7.0 update to bring a vertical app drawer. Meanwhile, Android devices already have a vertically scrolling app drawer, which seems quite user-friendly. Since Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Korean giant has stuck with a horizontal page-style drawer.
Galaxy users find scrolling through pages upon pages to find one app a bit effortful and time-consuming process. However, the leaks and rumors have already suggested that internally Samsung is working on this feature for the upcoming software update.
