Recently, WhatsApp has started delivering a new beta update for Android devices, which can be updated from the Google Play beta program. The new beta update brings a new Meta AI widget to allow users to access the Meta AI chatbot from their home screen.
What’s in the new update?
For Android users, the WhatsApp beta version 2.25.6.14 includes this feature; however, as a testing feature, it will only be available for some users, not every beta user. According to the source WABetaInfo, many beta testers are reporting about this feature.
This new WhatsApp widget has three interaction functionalities, including Ask Meta AI, Camera, and Voice. It allows you to interact with the Meta AI Chatbot, voice conversations, and share images directly from your Android device’s home screen. The widget is resizable, so users can resize it according to their convenience. Currently this feature is only released for beta testers, and after the successful completion of the testing phase, the company may release it for stable version users.
