Samsung and Apple will clash with their slim devices, Galaxy S25 Slim and iPhone 17 Air respectively with each other.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim
The Korean tech giant is gearing up to introduce the Galaxy S25 series later this month at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The lineup will include as usual three variants as mentioned below –
- Galaxy S25
- Galaxy S25+
- Galaxy S25 Ultra
Reportedly, Samsung is also rumored to debut one more device under the same Galaxy S25 series with the brand new title called Galaxy S25 Slim. It was reported that Samsung could make the device available in global markets.
The name says it will be a slim smartphone. The smartphone is already claimed to be the thinnest device than other old Galaxy devices.

According to the previous report, the Galaxy S25 Slim could measure a 6.6mm thickness.
However, it’s not clear whether the company will launch the device alongside the standard variants or later.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim to Clash with Apple iPhone 17 Air
Samsung is already highly anticipated to introduce its thinnest smartphone; Galaxy S25 Slim. On the rival side, Apple is also planning to release its thinnest phone ever called iPhone 17 Air.
Both devices are rumored to be launched in Q2 and Q3 this year. A tipster on X shared a text post revealing that the upcoming iPhone 17 Air could measure 6.25 inches in thickness.

Comparing both smartphone’s slimness, the iPhone 17 Air look slightly slimmer than the Galaxy S25 Slim. However, these are not the final and official measurements. So at least for now, we can’t predict which device will set a benchmark in slimness.
It will be interesting to see which brand will lead the war and set a new benchmark in slimness.
