Samsung has begun March 2025 update distribution with Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5. The update is currently spotted in South Korea and is expected to be available in other regions soon.
The March 2025 update is loading on Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra with build versions S921NKSS4AYB1, S926NKSS4AYB1, and S928NKSS4AYB1, respectively. S24 units are receiving this monthly OTA update in a 442.11 MB download file.
The latest security update is delivered with build versions F956NKSS2AYBD and F741NKSS2AYBD for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, respectively. Galaxy Z Fold6 users are getting it in a download package of 436.81 MB; on the other side, the Flip6 is getting it in an update package size of 430.38 MB.
Furthermore, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5 users can identify the March 2025 update with build versions F946NKSS5DYBD and F731NKSS5DYBE, respectively. Both foldable received it in 415 MB of update package.
The March 2025 update brought fixes for more than 58 vulnerabilities. Google introduced around 51 patches for the Android system, while Samsung also added 7 patches for its Galaxy devices.
These patches improve the overall security of Samsung devices, so you should install them when they are available. As these monthly updates are released in batches, they will not be available on all units simultaneously.
Moreover, recently the Korean tech giant confirmed the One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. The beta program was scheduled today but still the update is not released.
