Samsung to introduce Galaxy S25 lineup
The Korean brand has started gearing up for its upcoming Galaxy S25 series. The company will introduce the coming lineup as the successor of the Galaxy S24. It will include as usual three variants –
- Galaxy S25
- Galaxy S25 Plus
- Galaxy S25 Ultra
Galaxy S25’s expected release date
Following the release dates of the previous Galaxy S series, the Galaxy S25 will debut sometime between January 2025 and February 2025.
- Galaxy S24 release date – 31 January, 2024
- Galaxy S23 release date – 17 February, 2023
- Galaxy S22 release date – 25 February, 2022
The release date of these older series, suggests that the upcoming series is supposed to debut by the end of February 2025.
Galaxy S25 will be the first to run One UI 7.1 out of the box
Under the hood, Samsung is preparing for the One UI 7 (Android 15) update. The One UI 7 beta program could be open anytime soon initially for the Galaxy S24 series. Later it will expand to more eligible devices.
The Galaxy S25 will be the first series to run Android 15-based One UI 7.1 out of the box. This latest version is expected to bring more advanced Galaxy AI features, upgrades, and changes.
Galaxy S25 leaks so far
Previously, it was reported that Samsung could drop the Plus variant from the Galaxy S25 series. However, later another leak revealed the series will include all three ritual variants; base, plus, and ultra.
Recently, it was reported that the giant could rename the model name of the series. The Galaxy S25 Plus variant could be renamed as Galaxy S25 Pro. The Galaxy S25 Ultra could be renamed as Galaxy S25 Note.
Currently, the battery of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is spotted online on China’s 3C database. The spotted database revealed it will feature a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

The plus variant of the series reportedly brings an upgraded camera setup and faster charging. The Galaxy S25+ could bring a new periscope telephoto, a bigger main camera, and faster charging.
The base variant is expected to feature a bigger display as compared to its predecessor. The Galaxy S25 could feature a 6.3-inch display, which is almost as big as the Galaxy S10+.
This time the company is looking forward to bringing new rounded corners and slim bezels design for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
It is also reported that the brand could redesign the S-Pen. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to bring a complete rounder-shaped S-pen.

One of the most obvious predictions is that the Galaxy S25 Ulta will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The rest of the two variants could be powered by Exynos 2500.
However, Samsung has yet to reveal anything official regarding the forthcoming Galaxy S25 series. The above-mentioned details are based on leaks and rumors that could be changed anytime in the future.
